Adrenal Cortex (Primate)

Adrenal Cortex (Primate) Indirect Immunofluorescence Assay (IFA) using primate adrenal cortex tissue substrate is an in vitro diagnostic test intended for the qualitative detection of autoantibodies directed against adrenal cortex components in human serum or plasma.

The presence of adrenal autoantibodies may support the diagnosis of autoimmune adrenalitis, including Addison’s disease. Test results must be interpreted in conjunction with the patient’s clinical findings and other laboratory tests.
