Anti-TG is an immunoassay for the in vitro determination of IgG autoantibodies against thyroglobulin (TG) in human serum or plasma samples.
The test is intended to aid in the diagnosis of the autoimmune thyroid diseases Hashimoto’s thyroiditis or Graves’ disease in conjunction with other laboratory and clinical findings.
