Ovary (Primate) Indirect Immunofluorescence Assay (IFA) using primate ovary tissue substrate is an in vitro diagnostic test intended for the qualitative detection of autoantibodies directed against ovarian components in human serum or plasma.
The presence of ovarian autoantibodies may support the diagnosis of premature ovarian failure and other autoimmune reproductive disorders. Test results must be interpreted in conjunction with the patient’s clinical findings and other laboratory tests.
