Discover the role of citrullination in the development of rheumatoid arthritis and its importance as a target of the autoimmune response.
Discover the role of citrullination in the development of rheumatoid arthritis and its importance as a target of the autoimmune response.
Learn why rheumatoid factor (RF) and anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (anti-CCP) tests do not identify all RA patients, particularly during the early stages of the disease.
Explore how anti-CCP testing has evolved over time and how advances in assay design have improved RA diagnosis.
Understand the potential value of antibodies directed against specific citrullinated proteins as complementary tools to anti-CCP testing.
Examine the role of anti-MCV antibodies and how they may support the diagnosis and management of rheumatoid arthritis.
